Privacy Notice - Gamescom 2026

Last updated: 2026/08/25

1. Purpose of This Notice

This notice explains what information is and is not collected when you play our gameplay demo, book a henna tattoo appointment, or take part in our optional player survey at the MGS booth. The gameplay demo and the player survey are designed to avoid collecting any information that can identify you. The henna tattoo booking collects a limited amount of contact data, as explained in Section 5.

This notice is issued by MBC Game Studio Limited ("MGS", "we", "us"), Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the controller of any personal data described below. It supplements our main Privacy Policy, which applies to our websites and other activities.

2. Gameplay Demo

When you play the demo, the game records anonymous gameplay telemetry only. This may include information such as in-game actions, progress, session length, and performance metrics for the demo build.

  • The telemetry is not linked, correlated, or associated with you as a player. We do not attach seat numbers, timestamps tied to a queue, or any other value that could single you out.
  • The base telemetry is not transmitted to or stored on any online service. It is used only in aggregate to evaluate and improve the demo build.
  • Because the telemetry cannot be traced back to an individual, it does not constitute personal data.

3. Player Survey

After playing, you may be invited to complete a short survey about your experience.

  • Participation is entirely optional. You may decline, skip any questions, or stop at any time.
  • Survey responses are not correlated with any individual and are not linked to gameplay telemetry. We do not ask for information that identifies you and do not combine responses with any identifying record.
  • Responses are used only in aggregate to understand player feedback on the demo.

4. What We Do Not Collect (Demo and Survey)

To be explicit, in connection with the demo and survey we do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or other contact details
  • Account credentials or player account identifiers
  • Any identifier that would allow demo telemetry or survey responses to be traced back to a specific person

5. Henna Tattoo Appointment Booking

If you book a henna tattoo session at our Gamescom booth, we collect your name, phone number and chosen time slot to reserve your appointment and contact you about it. We process this data in order to take steps at your request and to provide the booking you have asked for. Bookings are managed on our behalf by SimplyBook, acting as our processor under a data processing agreement, with data hosted in the EU. We use your data only to manage your booking. We do not use this data for marketing, and we do not share it with third parties. All booking data, including backups, will be permanently deleted by 31 August 2026.

6. Photography & Other Event Activities

This notice covers only the gameplay demo and the player survey and henna tattoo appointment bookings. Photography, video, prize draws, mailing-list sign-ups, or other activities at the event or elsewhere on the show floor are governed by their own separate notices and are not addressed here.

7. Your Rights

Demo and survey: Because the demo telemetry and survey responses are anonymous and cannot be linked to you, we are unable to identify, retrieve, correct, or delete any individual record — there is no personal data attached to you to act upon. If you believe any activity at our booth has collected personal information about you, contact us at contact form and we will assist.

Henna bookings: Your booking details are personal data. Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your booking information at any time before the deletion date in Section 5, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU/UK, your local data protection authority; in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the competent authority (SDAIA). To exercise any of these rights, submit a request via our contact form.

If you believe any other activity at our booth has collected personal information about you, message us using contact form and we will assist.
